Ahh cool your on a path now
OK Ted is from upstate NY more specific Rockland county just above the New Jersey border.
He started selling out of a trailer in his backyard then got pretty big with a warehouse I believe in Connecticut.
You may be able to find some old timers in that area with parts laying around as he was the only deal in the area for years to get HD parts from
Good luck would love to see it retrofitted with something that would work.
If you choose not to go for it I am always interested in different stuff to play with if you decide to get ride of it. Along with about 20 other engines I have taking up space LOL

Viking-bob,
This is a SuperVee you're asking about. I was around when Nostalgia Cycles were pushing it in the early 80s. Preliminary looking around on Google a few minutes ago revealed that A) Nostalgia is no longer in business and B) Lots of folks are really pissed off at the performance of the units. Over the years I have seen many sparkling reviews for these machines; so some folks really love 'em. The machines were strongly marketed as a do-it-yourself package (build a chopper for under $6,000.00) and I wonder if that is tied to reports of poor workability. Like most cutting edge autophilia, there are very strong groups to go to for support; try googling. Good luck -
