    oil problem

    I changed my oil lines on my bike, when i went to add new oil it wont drain from tank to motor. I did double check my lines, i have the feed line right. i dont believe the vent and return mater but i know the feed is right. Can anyone help me with troulbe shooting this please?

    Is this after you crank it over or no? Its a dry sump system so I'm guessing it has to crank a few times to move oil through the system.

    no i did not try to crank it over, wasnt sure if i should. Like i said before i never even looked in the tank when i changed it before to check and see if it was going down. I will give it a shot though thank you.

    One of the wizard techs here will read this and know better. I'm just guessing. Its a dry sump system so if you drained it before changing the oil lines I'm guessing it'd need a few cranks to get the oil to flow through the system. You could probably pull the plug wires off and just turn the motor over a few times to see if oil pumps back into the crankcase.
