Every side road I took this week has ended up at a construction detour and traffic jam. I can't get nowhere from here. One detour the cops sent us on took us into a dead end industrial park forcing us all to do U turns and go back out into a traffic jam in the reverse direction.

If I was a cop I'd do that too. They have to laugh. "Hey, I got an idea! Tomorrow let's detour them into a circle!"

wow that list has everyone on it.

I like roads. They remind me of rivers. Rivers of motor vehicles. It boggles my mind that there's always traffic. And that roads can take you anywhere. And the travelers on the road are all on separate journeys. And the road is littered with broke down dreams and lost souls. But the road always reveals the way to the free spirits on their righteous machines, heading into the wind, sun on their backs. So it was, so it is.
