TC-88 Touring - Cam Cover Removal

For those who have been in the cam chest on a Twin Cam touring bike, what did you do for exhaust removal? Drop the whole thing? Remove the front header pipe only with remaining exhaust system undisturbed? Can this be done easily? I appears that at least the front cylinder exhaust header needs to be moved out of the way to swap out cams.

I agree with wreckerman. You're going to want to make sure the oil pump is lined up precisely when you put everything back together anyway so take off the pipes and give yourself some operating room.
