I know there are pickup issues also

A full tank of gas will show that problem

    OK, so you say:

    - you've verified spark at plugs
    - you hear the fuel pump cycle on and then turn off
    - the bike cranks at normal speed

if all are true, then i'd verify actual fuel pressure. after the bike turns on and the pump cycles on and off, cover the disconnect fitting (lh tank where a petcock would be) with a rag and pull it apart. it comes off just like an air hose fitting. if there is pressure there and you get spray, then the issue is computer related. if not, then it could be a clogged strainer in the tank, a pump, or a regulator issue.

one thing- after the pump turns on, reaches pressure (?), and turns off- turn the bike off. there should be enough residual pressure to check. if the bike stays on and the pump is good, it'l spew fuel pretty good once the line's off...

hay guy's little known fact , but the fuel filter is supposed to be changed every 25,000
miles not that anybody does, at 40.00 for a filter they are proud of there parts most likely your all on the same track
and he needs to look into the fuel tank, provided he is getting spark
Bucket list are for Sissie, men do it while they can enjoy it

When ignition is turned on can you hear the fuel pump priming (like Lost lake said). if not take a power probe and power up the fuel pump relay. Once primed it will start and run. Of course once turned off it will not restart. Just guessing but the stupid g harley relays are POS"s.
