Side cover removal for my 2010 Ultra

    Hi folks,

I'm working on jezebel and attempting to intall a rider's back rest and have to start by removing the left side cover. I've scoured the service manual and can't find the section. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi Royd,

I think it just pulls off if it is the same as my Roadking. There are pins molded into the plastic cover on the inside and they go into special holes that hold it in place. You should be able to get your fingers behind it and pull it off. You might have to take the saddle bag off first. I can't remember if you absolutly have to but I think it makes it easier if I remember right.

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

thanks guys. I finally found a one line explanation in the owners manual. Couldn't find it anywhere in the service manual...I thought it just popped off, but was concerned I might break something if it came off a certain way. Anyway, got most of the bracket installed for the rider's back rest. Need a couple zip-ties to button it up today.
