    ignition switch mounting

Have not been on in a while....have not had any problems, bikes running good etc.....have a question on how my ignition is mounted...1991 1200 sporty.....now, it's a bit of a parts bike so I'm not sure what's supposed to be there vs what I have....it had a zenith carb on it when I bought it, got back to a harley carb from the kind folks here....tried to take a pic on my cell phone and maybe I can add tomorrow. Anyway, problem is, mounting is down under the left side of the tank where I assume it should be, have the ignition key switch and the choke. Problem is where the horn mounts, the loop of metal that goes from the horn up, mounts right in line where the choke is...I notched out the metal so everything would clear but the vibration eventually caused the loop to break....I don't know if I have the wrong mounting pcs. or not.....assuming I have the wrong parts, are there any salvage places to get the right mounting brackets? Available through Harley?

Hope all is well, biketoberfest comming up here in Orlando and getting ready! Bought a boat this year and have spent a lot of time with that....

    pretty much..

Yep, I'm going to try a pic I took but very similar.....the problem is there is a nut and bolt that holds the bottom part of the bracket together....right where that bolts up is where the bracket the holds the horn also mounts. The choke from the carb has to pass right through that area to mount where it goes and I had to notch the bracket for the horn so the choke wire could pass.....after notching it's to wead and it broke. I'd love to get it back to however it came factory but my manual is not helping...I have not gone to the harley store yet and I'd guess that's my next move...
