    jackshaft coupling in inner primary

    Hello once again, ok took starter and inner primary off got new belt on sprocket put inner primary back on starter in goe to put it all back together the pinion gear is too close to clutch hub. my question is this, on the inner primary theres a coupling about an inch thick does the snap ring face in or out if i place it facing towards starter it goes to gether fine if i face it outwards towards inner primary its way to tight and the oinion gear doesnt seem to fit all the way in the coupling unless the springs not in it. anybody got a hint? thanks much Pork

    got it figured out

    In case anyones having this problem the solution is that bushing goes deep side of that coupling facing out in the manual it shows the snap ring in the front. Its wrong i turned it around everything went together nice ,reassembled and ill be riding tonight HELL YEAH!!!!!!

    sorry I did not see your post, yah I did the same thing the first time I took the primary apart.
    I could see it was not right and after scratching my head for 15 min, I figured it out.
    And yes the manual does a piss poor job of showing the assembly
    And guess what, the climer manual is just as bad
