    new phone

This will get you guys rolling , as most know I have been biking, and a clubber most of my life, and been a dam good wrench for over 40 years.
anyway that is all history, I fight the new technology, and try not to use it any more then I have to, anyhow was time to get a new phone,
the bag phone was just to big, and folks where always smirking when I pulled it out, so down to Verizon to look at phones, one thing lead to another
and the nest think I know I have this new Apple 4 G phone with all the bell's and whistles, so as the girl enplanes that it is the easiest of the new phone to use
she also enplanes how everyone is going green, so it comes with little to no instructions, and if I need to I can print a copy from there web site "all 100 pages"
so I use up the paper and ink, not them !! anyway after 9 solid hours, of fiddle fucking with each and every button, I mange to down load 100 songs from my CPU
and about 20 ring tones from a free web site, make most of the adjustments "personalize it" and with the exception of playing video clips, got it rocking , then comes the first call
shit , shit , it is in the lock position, by the time I get to the phone, figure out how to unlock it, then figure out how to answer the call, then how to disconnect at the end of the call,
I am plum worn out, seems there is never a six year old around when you need technical stuff explained, anyway still trying to in-brace the new, but I am ready to go back to tin cans and a string!
how did I ever get buy without all this fancy stuff anyway, well if it don't get easier, I will be finding out soon and I might just have a new 400.00 dollar paper wait for the shop !!!

may you always have two set's of foot prints in the sands of life

It's hard to believe all the things the Iphone can do. I never ride without mine plugged into the Aux jack and listening to Pandora, iHeartRadio or TuneIn Radio. Pandora's the best because you can create your own station to any kind of music you're in the mood to hear.

That is funny right there. A bag phone!! I used to have one of those and held onto mine for way too long also.

What happens with me is I figure out the basics and then don't use the other 95% of the capabilities. With my Droid I still don't know how to speed dial. I haven't figured out how to use Blue Tooth in my car yet. It took me 5 days of owning the car before I figured out how to turn the radio off. Yesterday I accidently turned on cruise control and it took me most of my commute to figure out how to deactivate it.
Have you synched your iPhone up to all your contacts and calendar yet? You're retired so maybe you don't need a calendar.

You guys can have all those fancy phones, I don't want one. I'm happy with my simple flip phone with the large buttons. I make calls, text my wife and kids, and put it in my pocket when I ride. Don't need no stickin data plan.
Hope for the best, but pack for the worst!

The Droid Razr is looking good to me. The screen is a lot bigger than my Incredible and I am losing my sight due to age.

My phone has been off for over a week and I must say that feels pretty damn good.

I almost cut my hair, it happened just the other day.
It was gettin' kinda long, I could've said it was in my way.
But I didn't and I wonder why, I feel like letting my freak flag fly

ok getting fairly good with this phone or should I call it a CPU? anyway one of the big issues here has always been lack of service even though I am smack dab in the middle of there best service so the map said! so I bought a router extender one from 1 bar of service to 4 bars wish I had known that a few years ago, and roger yes the screen is hard to read with out my glass's and the touch screen key board is hard to type on with my big shit hooks , but I think in time I will learn to love it
Lenny you are correct that not all of theses features are needed , but the GPS is nice to have the way I travel and get lost, it is also nice to be able to check my E mails or to look up something on the internet, when I am away from my home CPU so after a few days I give this a rating of 3 stars , it also fit's nicely into my paints pocket without harming it ..

I use it for emails from work. And it has my music on it. I have a tazer app that is lots of fun and good for defense.
