    Main wiring harnes?

Anyone know where to find a main wiring harness for a 95 fxdwg? I have had all sorts of electrical problems and am replacing all the wires in my bike..jp doesn't have one and I haven't been lucky finding one online anywhere. Would the harley store be able to order something that old for me?

Nope..they don't have it there eithet. I managed to find the oem number (69631-95) but when I look it up I can't find it anywhere. It says its discontinued ..so..does that mean my local shop won't be able to order it either? I haven't had time to call during the holiday hectics but I will try tomorrow when they open again. How hard would it be to construct my own harness if I bought the wire and plugs I need since I have the schematics in my mechs book? Thanks for the attempt in looking by the way..any help is much appreciated as I've never tried wiring before but would like to learn..

Complete replacement..also need a damn wiring diagram for a stock turn sig mod..part 68537-89e. Can't find one anywhere..hopin I don't have to order a new one just cause I dunno where the wires go. Could the harley store supply me with a diagram you think?

Anybody with 95 fxdwg HD service manual could supply you with the needed wiring dia. Check with local HD dealer or local indy shop.

You should consider purchasing a HD service manual.

I have a manual..it only shows which wires go to the module, not which wire is hooked into which pin on the module. Unless I over looked it somehow or just don't understand how to read the schematics in relation to the pins. Thanks for the input man..ill double check in the morning when I get up.

OK. First if your looking for a complete harness try V twin or Steel Thunder

    http://www.steelthundercc.com/wire_harness_kits.html

If you look closely the HD dia. they show the wire / pin locations in relation to the tabs (or bridge block) on each connector. Take a look at the turn signal canceller (section 8) in your manual, it shows the pin / wire id,s (wire color)and where it is located on the connector. In the wiring dia's they indicate the tabs on the connectors.

Also take a look at the handlebar switches section in section 8 (electrical)and it shows the tab on a connector.
    Hope this helps.
