    Angry HYdraulic Clutch Problems

    I have installed a hydraulic clutch accuator on my chopper. 6 speed RSD RoadMax transmission. I can't find neutral or start the bike with the clutch lever pulled in. I have good resistance at the lever and I am sure all the air is out. I only get fluid when I open the bleeder. The clutch doesn't seem to ever disengage. The clutch rod on the new accuator is the same length as the cable one I took off. Any suggestions? Do I have to remove the derby cover and readjust the clutch from the other side? If I do, what is the procedure?
    I still don't get any respect!!!

    like you thought- start with the pushroid adjust. after the derby is off you'll see an 11/16" nut on the center of the clutch hub with an allen inside. hold the allen and loosen the nut. tighten the allen down until it seats (loosely) then back it off a half a turn and lock it down with the nut.

    let us know-

    Thank's, I'll try that when I get home tonight and let you know tomorrow. What does centered on the ram mean? Are you refering to the slave unit in the accuator?

    Thanks, Junior, worked like a charm. I turned it in a little too far the first time and the clutch slipped some. Brought the bike back and backed it out a half turn and it works perfectly now. Didn't ride very far because of the cold. I'm assuming that it won't need any further adjusting.
