    Friday Friday Friday

It's friday day! Time to get crackalackin. I made the coffee strong so grab a mug and help yerself. Milk's in the fridge.

    What's your favorite cereal?

Me and my daughter are meeting up Sunday and I'm gonna help her put a wedding budget together. I need to see some numbers if I'm paying for this soiree. LOL

I still got a bit of a headache. Yesterday afternoon I got what they call an occular migraine. Also known as kaleidoscope eyes. It starts with this weird psychedelic like flashes of light. Like looking in a kaleidoscope. No pain. Then that fades and a headache comes on. Not sure what triggers it but I get them a couple times a year. They just start out of the blue. The headache sucks but the light show is trippy. It's like you can see but you can't see. A little vodka tonight will clear the remnants away.

Good morning WP. I got off lucky on the wedding costs. I told them they could have $5K to do with whatever they wanted and they took it. They had a small church wedding and all was well. My friend spent $48k on his daughters wedding and they were already living together and bought a house.

That psychedelic stuff sounds weird. Back in the day a guy had some chocolate something in the Baracks and if you took just a little bit and laid in your bunk and looked up at the ceiling you could see all kinds of pretty colors floating across the ceiling. Then everyone stood around and laughed at each others reaction.

    Good morning bikers.

I'm pretty sure my wedding cost less than $3000.
We got married in our front yard and had about 50 people there.
My brother and friends played the music. There were a lot of older folks and everyone drank and danced.

    What more do you need?

Happy Friday the 13th Fellas! xo Thanks for the coffee Wild1 - pumpkin spice creamer for me. Cloudy, may rain later kind of a day and low 60's. Don't have to work today. Going out tonight for a good ole Wisconsin fish fry with a girlfriend. I've had a few of those kind of kaleidoscope eyes experiences Wild1. Very weird when it's happening. I didn't get the headache though, thankfully. Good luck with the wedding budget with your daughter. With my daughter, they kept it as simple as they could and everyone had a blast at their wedding. Have a great day guys!
    ~~Peace~~

I think my wedding was $50.

Why is 13 considered unlikely anyways? Seems like a lucky number don't it.

But I'm not super stitious, I'm just a little stitious.

    LOL

Back then we knew how to stretch every dollar. We saved before we bought stuff. Although when I moved up to the Boston area we had to borrow $600 from a cousin because the rents were so much higher higher in the Metro area than down the coast where we were. And you had to pay first and last months rent. LOL

When my work took me out to fancy city restaurants with clients I had no clue which fork to use. LOL So I would sit and wait for someone else to start eating and note which utensil they used. Heck, I still don't know which water glass is mine. Right side or left side?

Yep I wasn't always the suave and debonair guy that I am now. And when I started traveling to Europe I was really fuckin lost.

It was a steep but fun learning curve.
