I gave my wife the flu for Valentines Day.

Go in to review the MRI with my surgeon. I hope he calls off my surgery tomorrow. I'm not up for it.

The surgeon postponed my surgery for two weeks to let my lungs clear from the flu. he showed me the MRI pics of my arm and the tendon is torn clean off the elbow. it looked like a wrinkled strip of bacon. Slack where it should have been taut. made me nauseous looking at it. LOL

Doc said it's an easy fix. I said "easy for you".

orthopedic surgeons are basically mechanics. You break something they go in and cut it out, or reattach it, or replace it. He'll use kevlar sutures to reattach it. So my elbow will be bulletproof. LOL And abrasion resistant.

One of my friends had something like titamium wire as a tendon in his leg from military accident

i have titanium staples in my guts where they took out my appendix.

I wonder if they can use carbon fiber filaments for tendons.

Someday i will be a pile of dust with a few titanium staples, dental crowns and kevlar thread mixed in.

One of the locals here crashed his ferrari yesterday with a pro golfer on board

May have been a stuck throttle or something makes no sense the driver was not a street racer type

I heard that story. He sidewiped another car with an actor Luke Wilson(I think) in it.
