    Hello

    Hello,
New to the site and want to introduce myself, my name is Bob (Stumpy) I been riding 45 years & have had a few bikes over the years, Yamaha FS1E (Fizzy), SUZUKI GT125 & 250, R6, Mv Agusta F4 Suzuki GSXR750, Honda CB 400 Super four (NC31), Honda 600F Hornet & 2004 Harley-Davidson FXDLi Dyna LowRider, still have the Harley and Hornet, I got the Harley to save my driving licence but got stopped for speeding the first week I got her another 3 points !! I retired from the reserve forces last year after 33 years serving Queen & County and was hoping to get more time for the Harley but my little grandson seems to taking priority!! Been married for 35 years and now work at Plymouth University, looking forward to being on the forum and will endeavor to keep my swearing to a minimum,

    Welcome Stumpy!
You must also have owned a BSA, Triumph or Norton I suspect. LOL

When I was a kid I wanted a BSA GoldStar along with a Harley Sportster. The Sportster was always competing with the British bikes for fastest street bike honors. Then the Honda 750 four came out and everything changed.

    Thanks for the welcome,
funny you said about the British bikes, never really looked at getting one until this year !! i took the new Triumph Bobber for a test ride in February (very impressed) a lot lighter then the Harley and FAST !! the long haired Sargent major said she would not mind me getting it as long as i exchanged for both my bikes but not sure how the Triumph would hold up to our winters !! i only run the Harley in the summer and the Honda i use everyday for work.
