Listen and try to play the blues. I like blues guitar and the history behind it. Rock and rule has its origins in the blues.

Just got back from upstate NY. I'm getting old for these long drive. But my google GPS alerted me to all the speed traps! Many seemed like false alarms but better to be safe than sorry. This was a visit to my wife's side of the family. I love those people up there. they're genuine good people. Hard working salt of the earth types. A few of them are farmers. So I asked them what they thought of Trump's battle with China on trade? They were in full support. I said wait a minute, I heard that the farmers were against it cuz you couldn't sell your soybeans? They laughed and said, "nah that ain't a problem. I sold mine to canada and they sold it to China". LOL They're problem solvers!

What is it with the NY thruway? At first i thought they were getting ready to repave the turnpike and had scarred up the surface. But on the way back I noticed they had painted lines on the scarified surface. I think that is the new topcoat. They got grooves in the surface. It makes a lot of tire noise. Probably chews up tires. Probably adds grip in icy winter conditions. When I hit the Mass. line it switched back to good old asphalt.
