I may have narrowed it down to the horn. Although it seems to be installed and tightened properly, the outer chrome cover makes the exact noise when I tap on it.
It appears I found mine too. I went over everything including the horn, but what was loosest was........my plugs! I tightened everything up and went out for about a 150 mile run today and no ringing.

Glad you found the problem.
Do you use a torque wrench when tightening the plugs? You want
to be careful not to over tighten them. Torque on my 93 EVO 18-22 fl-lbs
I would also suggest a little anti sieze on the plug threads.
Don't have a torque wrench, so I tighten it to "about yay".....LOL This time I did it yay + a little more B)

Hmmm, definitely not my plugs. I think it was my jeans flapping onto the horn cover when I hit enough speed to make wind turbulence.
You can never be sure if it was the jeans or not. Gotta ride naked to be sure!......LOLOriginally Posted by jdellefs

Ride it like you stole it. Then when the noise stops double back to see what fell off.
